Overview

Coming from Damascus or Jerusalem, Amman looks like an absolute hell hole. You’ll more than likely be stuck here in transit or because you’re visiting  Petra. Try and get here on the weekend so you can at least find a pulse.

The Girls

Jordan is a great place to get your refugee game on, with nearly 2 million Palestinians and half a million Iraqi refugees in the country.

Ethnic Jordanian girls are similar to others in the Levant, but they are slightly darker. The typical look is dark and sultry with pear shaped bodies. They standard is not as high as other places in the region, but you still get a few cuties. English is pretty prevalent.

West Amman is where you will find the most affluent and liberal women. Unfortunately, hotels are very expensive in this part of town. City mall and Mecca Mall are the best places for day game.

Where to buy Marijuana: People tend to buy mj through friends contact. Smokers tend to be in closed communities where its not ‘out in the open’. Even though Amman is a big place, everyone tends to know everyone and word gets around quicker than the dust kicking about it at best of times. So its best to keep it well within trusted friends.

Prices: Depends on the season. Don’t pay more than $5 a gram.

Marijuana prices: Police in Jordan tend to know very little about drugs, well that’s for the average cop on the street. I heard from a few police in downtown that they assumed pot is sniffed like charlie. Some of the ciggs that you find from the builders (mostly Egyptian nationals) tend to look like a j, and on occasion smell like one too.

Nightlife Recommendations

Amman nightlife is not great – it’s spread out, expensive, and limited. However, it is organised and getting better by the day. Facebook is used to get crowds. Terminal Pub

The in-place at the minute. This is the place to be. Like many venues in the capital, you will need to ring ahead to confirm your attendance. They do ladies nights, open bar night etc. Facebook page here.

My Amman Experience

Amman was part of the Siege of the Levant. We were there two nights (Thurs & Friday), but left for the Sat because we thought Jerusalem would be more fun. I had a date on the Friday with a real cutie, but cut it short to explore the nightlife (plus, she was a virgin and I was getting nowhere). I didn’t like the city overall, but would have liked to explore the nightlife scene a little more.
