Greetings lads. It’s been a while.
In fact, it’s been months since I posted anything, the longest gap ever. I owe you an explanation.
You see, my offline life in the Med has been incredibly busy and interesting.
The launch of my second pub over the summer was an incredible success. It’s packed every evening and we’ve over 10 staff. It’s intense, but I’m delighted.
Last night, I took over my third offline business in a year. Aside from handling two bars, I’ve acquired one of our suppliers. Along with my brother, we will now be importing beer directly for breweries in Europe and distributing to over 20 different establishments.
I’ve also finally moved into the new apartment that I purchased on-plan some time back. It’s a three-bed, and I’ve already rented the two other rooms.
Needless to say, things are improving for me, but it hasn’t been smooth sailing.
I won’t see any return on the second bar for 2 years. My first bar got shut down for three and a half months during the summer due to a legal issue. (It has only re-opened recently). Furthermore, the aforementioned apartment was delayed a year, and I spent that time paying rent and a mortgage, which made saving impossible.
But as I said, the storm has passed and I’m beginning to re-build. I can finally afford furniture. As for my other 2019 goals, after a 6-month hiatus I’m also back in BBJ training for my blue belt, and my new book, My Life as a Mexican Pirate, is finally 100% ready for release. All I have to do now is think about marketing and set a date.
I’ll hopefully be posting more content in the upcoming months and I booked tickets back to NYC for NYE, then I’m off to Mexico for a while to enjoy a much-needed vacation.
Given my impending book release, you’ll be hearing more from me in future.
