Why I Bet Money on Trump

I’m normally not a gambling man. I occasionally bet on a soccer game here or there to make things interesting, but otherwise I’m not so inclined to waste my money.

Yesterday, however, I decided to bet money on Donald Trump to win the US election.

Given the recent news of Ted Cruz dropping out, it proved good timing.

This isn’t an endorsement. I honestly think the manosphere’s support for Trump is just one giant troll job, and we’re all enjoying it. Before I put money down, I really didn’t care who won the election. I’m not American (thank Allah), and a Hillary versus Trump election is just entertainment for me.

It’s like that time that war-mongering daddy’s boy was re-elected, or the time after that, when they had that affirmative-action campaign when the one with the dark skin battled the one without the penis.

clinton-trumpThe rest of the world looks at the US elections, swinging back and forth between two extremes, and just grabs the popcorn.

Don’t get me wrong, I love America. I loved being a bachelor in New York City. I love my American friends, on the left and on the right, but the political system they inherited does them a disservice. It forces them to see in black and white (literally and figuratively), and that’s a shame.

I thought Sanders was a great candidate. Although I don’t share his socialist ideals, he was a man with integrity. He was a man of the people, unlike Clinton. I think the democratic party’s system of super delegates has made a joke out of these primaries, and I think the American electorate has been robbed.

Sanders could have beaten Trump, but Hillary? I’m not so sure. Other pundits agree.

Trump supporters are far more passionate than Clinton supporters, and I can see why.

Both Sanders and Trump were anti-establishment candidates. A vote for them was a giant f**k you to the current system. I get it.

Clinton, on the other hand, is an interventionist flip-flopper coasting on cash from lobbyists and corporate interests. To her supporters, her character is second in importance to her having a vagina, and the fact that she has had a former president in that vagina.

Trump has major faults too—too many to mention—and if he gets elected I believe he will underwhelm, like Obama did. People look up to these figures like Gods, but America’s problems are only going to get worse. As I wrote about before, America’s race and class divisions will only deepen. If I’d were an American male, I’d get to hell out of there and expatriate to Europe, Latin America or South Asia.

That said, I would like to see Trump win for shits and giggles. The enemy of my enemy is my friend. The mainstream media, the radical-left, the PC police, third-wave feminists, and anybody who uses the word ‘white privilege’ all hate Trump, and that’s exactly why I want him to win. Trump might be a bitch, but he’s not their bitch. It would be a victory against those who wish to censor, shame, and punish those who disagree with them. . And now that I have money on it…

Let’s make American great again.

I think, you can be sure that Trump will win. Although, his famous building-a-wall expenses are getting higher and higher gradually, starting with 4 billion and reaching something close to 15 or 20 billion usd. Interesting guy 🙂

Hey Mark, nice article. Trump has to get women, Latinos, and blacks to win the general election against Hillary… all groups that he’s deeply turned off alienated. Even if Trump pivots to be a general election candidate, I don’t think he can win over these groups after everything he’s done and said, and I don’t think Trump will pivot either. Plenty of conservatives despise Trump as well for his stances against free trade and wanting to pull back the U.S. military, or see him as a loose canon or a bully. Yes, he attracted blue collar white workers in droves who are angry seeing their wages fall to free trade deals, immigrants, and AI and automation. But winning the general election is a whole different game. He has as super uphill battle to win. It’s not likely to happen.

They said the same thing when he announced. I honestly think the man could shoot somebody and his supporters would still follow him.

3 to 1 odds were good. One difference between then and now is that Trump was leading in the polls soon after entering the race. Now he is generally losing in head-to-head polls vs. Clinton, sometimes by double-digit margins: http://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/latest_polls/pres_general/

While polls can be volatile, Americans already know who both of these people are.

I think Trump will make it competitive. Trump attacking Clinton will be like a Somali Pirate attacking an oil tanker. Usually people vote for the alpha male in the race. And that is Trump. You could hedge your bet when the race tightens and then play with house money…

Mark, yeah his supporters are extremely loyal. Those loyal supporters won him the Republican primary. But now he has to expand his support to independents, women, and minorities — can he do that? His negatives are so high, that he’s made it hard to win them back. If he just rides on his loyal supporters from the Republican primary, it won’t be enough to win the general election, not by a long shot. On the other hand, too many Americans tend to get mesmerized by cheap celebrity flash and are poorly educated, so anything is possible.

Blacks make up about 13% of the US population and based on the fact that 33% or so of Black males are in prison, on probation or parole (let’s add in women to make that a nice 40%) and adjusting for those who can’t vote due to age, add in those who WON’T vote, and we’re looking at the “black vote being roughly 5% of the population. Of that, not ALL are voting democrat, such as my ol’ lady (a 21 year old dark black super ultra mega hot sista from inner city Chicago, who LOVES Trump). I know quite a few Blacks who intend to vote for Trump. Ok, so let’s say dems can count on 3% of the population by “courting the black vote”. Ok, same goes for latinos. I grew up in a majority hispanic neighborhood. Of those old enough to vote, most couldn’t because of active felony situations or immigration status. Of those that could, most didn’t because they just didn’t feel like it. Of those that would, the only ones I knew personally who actually DID were devout republicans. So there goes your latino vote. Funny: when Obama was running the first time, the black woman I was with had a brother who went around campaigning, placing yard signs, etc. But somehow he never went and actually voted.

    Mark,
Why shouldn’t American men consider Latin America for expating as well? What European countries would you reccomend for Americans wanting out?

      I don’t see why not.

Lived in Mexico for years, before the Zetas overthrew the Columbians and took control of cocaine trafficking. Now it’s very unstable and unsafe. Back in the 80’s though, in Nuevo Laredo, a white person in Mexico was virtually untouchable. Now they’re targets. Same goes for the other central and south american countries. With the possible acception of Belize (wait, read about what happened to the founder of McAfee Anti-virus software (John McAcee)). Get this: white people are not welcome in non-white countries but their money is. If they can just get the money and get rid of YOU they will.

I have a feeling that despite his traveling, Mark’s unwavering dedication to the ideals of the so-called manosphere (I’ve come to hate that word nearly as much as ‘selfies’) and his negative media perception has seriously dumbed down his perspective on things that require a bit more thinking than the best ways to get your penis inside a foreigner.

I’m no fan of Hillary either, my choice would be Sanders – but she’s by far the most likely candidate to win, and it’s not because she has a vagina (or had an ex-president inside it), it’s because she’s a shrewd, shameless pro-establishment politician who knows how to work the flawed system in her favor.

Foreign Policy (yeah, I know, lamestream media, so you can skip it and hop over to your favorite manosphere podcast for wisdom) is apparently a staple diet of the White House – and their general take on Hillary is that she’s a vicious, intimidating debater who can back up her flip-flops (hint: so was Obama, and he was a black man with relatively weak pro-establishment credentials). Give your enemy credit where it’s due, and start reading something more substantial than blogs and books by semi-obscure young white guys for once.

@Ali S: They gave him 50/1 at the start, and defied the odds. I don’t underestimate Hillary. She’s by far the favorite, but she didn’t have good odds. As I said, this is not an endorsement. Sanders should have got the job, but America will get the president it deserves. Hillary and Trump are equal parts terrible.

Dude, best post you’ve done in a while. Personally I already have a ticket purchased… This past winter was my 3rd out-of-doors, after 17 years of paying taxes and working hard. America is no place for a single man. Asia is the future. I traveled a lot in my 20’s but now it is time to take action for good and yup I’ll be voting for Trump via absentee ballot. And drinking a toast, then fucking my girlfriend to celebrate when he wins…

“Sanders should have got the job, but America will get the president it deserves. Hillary and Trump are equal parts terrible.”

Definitely agree, and I like this post a lot by you. I thought when I first opened it, “here we go, just like Victor Pride, Chris GLL, and the rest of the ‘manosphere’, Mark’s onboard”

Refreshing perspective, and glad you took the time to write it.

Would you take the same odds today?
