Naughty Nomad Moves to the Big Apple

new_york_city_panorama_evening_1920x1080
That’s right. I’ve recently moved to the Big Apple. For the next few months, the city will be my base of operations.

No joke: within 5 mintues of stepping off the bus, a dude named Chris spotted me and said, “Hey, you’re the Naughty Nomad!”

How cool is that?

Having been to Cuba and read my last blog posted, we briefly chatted about the frustrations of Sex in Cuba. The guy was even nice enough to give me a free metro ride and point me in the right direction. It was a cool introduction to the city. I then went on the pull with forum member El Padrino last night for Halloween night. Good times.

Why NYC?

C’mon. It’s one of the greatest cities on the planet, hosting chicas from every corner of globe. There is so much to do. This place is the polar opposite to my quiet little village in Ireland. My brother also lives here and there are a few opportunities here I want to pursue.

First Impressions?

Overwhelming. I visited here for a week when I was 18, but my head has been spinning since I got off the plane. There are some much diversity and I love it. I’m just settling in at the moment. I have a place to stay for a weeks fews, I’ve joined a gym, and I’m already attending language exchanges.

Meet-ups

If there are any cool NYC readers here who want to meet for a pint or something let me know. If there are any cute female readers, the same applies.

Can’t wait to conquer this city!

Have fun bro. NYC is my city since it’s where I live but been living in the Caribbean for the past 2 years. Tear it up.

It’s not known as a party town but still decent.

What area of Manhattan do you reside in? I know the rent is exorbitantly high. The cheapest areas i’m guessing would be Harlem or outside the city. Well you can’t lose in NYC but good luck to you!!

If I come back through to my hometown, we’ll raise a glass.

When I first moved back to NYC after law school and business school, no exaggeration, I went out every night for a year. I was 27 at the time. I can’t even imagine how much money I spent on drinks that year. The City has changed substantially in the 15 years since, but to me, is still as alive as any place on the planet.

    Have a blast.

i know a PUA in NYC, but i’d have to ask if he’d be willing to hang out. he usually hunts solo.

Good luck and enjoy it. one of my dreams is being able to live in NYC for a period of time. I remember reading in a mag an article about how living in NYC changes you – the diversity, the pace of life, the history of the place has a life of its own.

I’m curious, where are you staying? Manhattan or the other boroughs? Queens and especially Brooklyn (Williamsburg and surrounding areas) have great nightlife, culture and youth population but the rents are manageable. If you’re staying at your brother’s place i can understand, but the rents are ridiculous in any part of Manhattan south of Harlem.

Welcome to NY buddy. I’ve lived here for the past 3.5 years, and it’s an awesome city to be in. THE city to be in. Hit me up through here, and we can grab a beer.

There is no problem in Cuba, just hand over $20 and those beautiful girls will fuck your brains out. Why deprive them of a little present. Get over yourself. Funny you go to all the whore capitals of the world and ‘never pay for it’ If your that good then just stay at home. As you get older and your addiction to pussy is more intense money becomes more important than game. But then you need to have invested the time in making money. Is that what you are doing really?

Sucks man, I just left NYC and would’ve loved to have gone on the pull with you. I live in Austin, TX now, which is very cool in it’s own right-NYC is amazing, but explore America while you’re here-the east coast especially is PACKED with fun, completely different cities SO close together!
Going from North to South, here are some places I recommend, with MUST SEE in all caps

    -Portland, Maine
-Keene, NH (My College town-go to any frat party and you’d be a hit with your accent, I pretty much guarantee you’d pull a ONS 3-some)
-BOSTON, MASS-loads of douchebags, but some hot girls, and tons of history-probably about half as much as any town in europe! That’s a lot for us. Beautiful city, party town, but pricey, and the city pretty much shuts down at 1am.

Greenwich, CT-suit up and hit up Greenwich Ave, the most pretentious avenue this side of Beverly Hills. Have a few drinks at the Gingerman (Irish Pub, hundreds of beers), then head up to Barcelona around the corner, the place to pick up seriously rich women on saturday night. If YOU wanna get paid, check Greenwich out. Or if you just wanna fuck rich girls with daddy issues. Either way.

-PHILLY-good, cheap drinking, just watch out for the drunk bros when the Eagles are losing.
-WASHINGTON DC- is pretty much half rich people, half ghetto shit hole, but there is SO MUCH FREE STUFF here you can’t miss it as a tourist. As long as the US Gov’t is open, you have to check out DC while you’re here.
-BALTIMORE has a bad rap but is a fucking BLAST, great down town area, really cheap GOOD FOOD, CHEAP BOOZE (!!) natives call it “America’s best kept secret”

ALL OF THESE CITIES, top to bottom, could fit in the state I live in now, Texas. It’s like 9 hours from Portland, Maine to Baltimore. It’s probably 12 hours to drive corner to corner in TX. Enjoy the east coast’s compact-ness. Each city really does have it own unique character and charm. Of course NYC is THE city, but each place has some really cool shit going for it.
If you ever have any questions, hit me up, I know a fair bit about the city.

I am born and raised in NYC. It isn’t one of the greatest cities. It is the greatest city in the world. How do people go about contacting you for a pint?

    • Naughty Nomad November 15, 2013 at 3:22 pm #

@NoobToob: Facebook is the best option.
