Yo Lurkers, that’s right – you!

This is a ripped post from Gmac and the Private man, who awhile ago did posts calling out their lurkers:

I know you’re out there. I get lots of page views and few comments. The view-to-comment ratio is about 1,500 to 1. Frankly, that’s not acceptable. The other Manosphere bloggers agree. We’ve met in secret to discuss it.

So, I invite the lurkers to post one comment, any comment. Just say hello or something. Tell me where you’re from and what you think about this whole Red Pill, Manosphere thing. Tell me your age, your sex, other blogs your read. Better yet, compliment my blog and the sage wisdom that I dispense. I could use some more fawning sycophants. Or, lay down some righteous hate on my lily white ass. I won’t refuse the comment (with exceptions).

In fact, I’m going to put pressure on you lurkers. Until I get comments from at least 25 new people, I’m not going to update my blog. This post will just sit here.

Now I get over 3,000 pageviews a day, so that tells me many of you readers are a  wee bit shy.

Lurking fans and haters, this is your chance to be heard. Comments and feedback, even the bad, are my favourite. I read them all (including emails). It would be nice to see some more participation around here. Besides… it helps me decide which direction the blog is headed.

What do you think of Naughty Nomad? What do you agree or disagree with? What would you like to see more of? Have I helped you in any way? Anything else you’d like to say?

Comments from 25 new people… that’s all I’m asking. Until then, there will be no new posts and you are all my e-hostages! Share your thoughts, I eagerly await the new faces.

Hey man, love your blog and read all your posts. Never really feel the need to comment on them though – but will give more feedback in the future.

I particularly like your city guides – great stuff and I used the one for Addis Ababa only a few months ago! (just checked that post and incidentally there are LOADS of comments).

I would like to see more city guides, but perhaps also more top 5/10 cities in regions like you did for asia – they make for great reads and make planning our exploits that much better.

3000 pageviews is awesome – how many uniques is that per day?

Keep up the good work, and look for more comments from me!

    • Naughty Nomad November 14, 2011 at 4:32 pm #

This is great guys, keep em’ coming!

@Damo: A little over 1,000 unique a day 🙂 Will keep the city guide coming:) I have been to Antarctica but not Oceania.
@Lurkerx: The blogs I follow are on the right side of the page, but will be adding more soon. I used Myspace, tagged and badoo for pipelining.
@catch23: Yeah, Sofia got some gorgeous girls, but I’ve haven’t experienced it enough to merit a city guide.

what blogs do you follow? this is the only one i follow at the moment. Also, what kinda sites do you use to build a pool of potentials before your adventures overseas?

I’m an American guy living in Sofia, Bulgaria. Longtime lurker, gigantic fan – and have actually planned several of my European weekend trips around your city guides. I’ve been to 60+ countries and have long bar room conversations about which countries have the hottest girls (winner is Ukraine – though haven’t been to Latvia yet). Actually surprised you haven’t done a guide on Sofia yet. I’m pretty happy here (as Bulgaria is probably the 4th “most attractive” city in my book). Thoughts?

  11. lasingmao November 14, 2011 at 3:40 pm #

I read your blog on google reader so don’t see the comments and never thought about it. Anyway; I love hearing of your adventures and conquests.

    NN ,
Amazing Blog I go on your site nearly every time I am online to read about your adventures, and read about the places to see where I wanna go next.

    KEEP IT UP.

I am seriously looking forward to the final day when you have coloured the world map in red, and literally been everywhere, and to hear what you then have to say about all the places you have been.

  15. Willyum November 14, 2011 at 4:50 pm #

NN the city guides, international aspect, and really the ”story” is the shit that keeps me comin back.

  16. Darn November 14, 2011 at 4:57 pm #

Roosh v’s site led me to here, iam 20, from Aberdeen in Scotland, (apparently the 2nd hardest city in the uk to pull only to be beaten by Bath).
Did a Euro trip, captured 5 flags, (not shitty flags that speak English and are like the girls from my country) and iam now known among my social circle for my stories on how i obtained these bangs.
When i go out in my home city now iam actively seeking out foreign chicks, the exotic are just better.
Your blogs something else like, dont be gettin married anytime soon. Not until youv got a definative guide for the whole world.

In response to your last post – I lurk therefore I am. Keep up the good work Don’t want to rain on your parade but Persian girls outside of Iran are like shooting fish in a barrel – To steal a line from my favorite movies Closer” They (sic) love a guilty f*#k. As do most women from the mediterranean area. Simple game doesn’t stimulate them enough unless they are already overwhelmingly physically attracted to you. Otherwise its good old fashioned smoldering romance tempered with a healthy mix of Alpha behavior and a keen sense of humor. Looking forward to more insight and adventure HawaiianB

Naughty Nomad is my Idol! Thats what i think of Naughty Nomad.

When you are in foreign countries, especially Africa, could you make some pics of women on street and in malls, so we know what kind of quality there is.

  19. Lars Johnson November 14, 2011 at 5:21 pm #

I think your 25 comment request comes off as needy. Obviously if you are pulling large numbers of visitors your voice is being heard. Be contented. People might choose not to participate for a variety of reasons: from being morons who have nothing constructive to add, to having a general aversion to getting involved in the whole pickup/travel discussion. I don’t think a low comment to visit ratio necessarily equates to a lack of interest in your writing, which I personally find to be massively entertaining. It’s more that this website is a repository for your adventures as opposed to a forum for discussion. Deal with it and get your ass out there and make some new stories.

  20. catch23 November 14, 2011 at 5:40 pm #

@Lumiere – I’ve been here about 20 months now. How did you end up in Bulgaria?

  21. King November 14, 2011 at 5:46 pm #

:0). Noughty nomad, to do something you love and share it is the best – a human can do, and you are doing it!. I would never have the balls to create a blog like this, because of the social pressures that come with it. You’re probably in top 2% percentile of the population in terms of carefree attitude. You’re the innovator, some of the readers here are early adopters. Soon we’ll have movement!

  22. daft November 14, 2011 at 6:26 pm #

You nomad is a f*cking bastard, pillaging other girls countries…. how much older are you? Your stories are fantastic, but there was a story i would like to see: The Lagos story.

You should visit Brazil, but not the mainstream Brazil (Sao Paulo & Rio), instead of these cities, come visit south Brazil, i mean: Florianopolis, Balneário Camboriú, Itajai… i guaranty you no regret, the summer season is about to start in early December, (so you got time to plan your trip) and down here you get top notch girls everywhere you look at.

I’m going to Balneário Camboriú for the New Years Eve. These time of year everyone goes crazy and wild.

Keep on writing, your blog is one of my inspirations in game improving, and gives me motivation to explore (and pillage) the world, in a motherf*cking way.

  23. Ben November 14, 2011 at 6:56 pm #

What I have noticed is that you rarely reply to comments and questions people direct at you, no doubt you’re super busy with work and travel and gaming woman so it’s understandable but you’re a hero to a lot of the younger guys who read your blog and especially to people from socio-economic backgrounds which mean they can only dream of travelling the world, and I think people would post more if they thought that you might reply or take an interest in their comments, you do seem to be pretty self obsessed. Just my take on things. A way around this would possibly be a monthly Q&A where you answer a hand full of people’s questions regarding all aspects of your travels.

Personally, I think it’s good the way it is.

  24. Wolfpack November 14, 2011 at 7:16 pm #

    Hallo. 25.

Looking forward to more city guides, perhaps some other Euro cities. Really found the African ones useful for the future.

  25. thewilk November 14, 2011 at 7:33 pm #

Are you ever going to get around to Central and South America? I would love to see some city guides for Colombia and Brazil.

  26. tigershark November 14, 2011 at 8:15 pm #

28, in Dubai. Floated onto your site after a friend sent the Addis link after we’d been there. Have you on RSS and like to check in once in a while, enjoy the read.
Just in response to daft’s comments – I actually recommend the north of Brazil over the south. It’s warmer, cheaper, and the chicks are browner and flithier! 😀

  27. Rob November 14, 2011 at 8:46 pm #

Hey man – keep up the good work!! I’m a lurker but enjoy the blog.

  29. jeremiah November 14, 2011 at 9:12 pm #

i have to agree i like the rating system that you used to do with cities better. Not so much the random blog posts

  30. Tim November 14, 2011 at 9:16 pm #

The city guide, and the top destinations of Africa and South Asia (More regions in the future?) make this blog the best travel guide about pickup and traveling and overall lifestyle for me.

I’m young and I still studying, so the trips I can take are limited on time and budget. So when I flying somewhere, the place have to be fucking awesome,
And for that reason the info you provide about girls and cool experiences is really important for me, especially because it come from your point of view, which I like and what make your blog stand a part from other blogs.

If you want improvements ideas read this:

    1. Do more “Top destinations on more Regions” – That what I currently reading quite often to plan my next trip in Africa or Asia but it will be great if you alaberate bit more about the differences of this destinations to make the comparison and planning easier. that bring me to my next point.

    2. Suggest routes. its hard to make a good route plan, especially if you have not been there before. if you had few routes that you recommending it will huge time saver, and something to start planing from.
Like “Naughty Nomad S.E Asia route ” when you suggest for example starting in Malaysia, then you advise to move to Phuket, and you write how to get there, what are the available options, like flight or bus, maybe suggest about cool place on the way. from there you recommend maybe to get to Laos or Cambodia or suggest both or few more places (for longer trips), and finishing in the Philippines, with some advice about arranging flight tickets or something. Such route guide will be the best thing!

    3. If you been in shitty place, write it to, so there more avoid this place in this city unless you… or don’t waste your time doing something that only looks cool…
And mention the little things to, the unexpected and strange…

That all from me, i’ts always pleasure to read your blog, keep it coming 🙂

  31. Aaron November 14, 2011 at 10:02 pm #

    Hey buddy,

I’ve been reading your blog for a few months now. I love everything that you’ve been talking about and when I get my own business set up and ready to go I’ll be taking your travel suggestions and going to all the nightspots that you have been to and talking to all the women there.

I can’t really suggest anything new for you to discuss because I’ve enjoyed everything that you have said.

I do, however, look forward to more city guides that you have and any more gambits that you have or have learned… Your new bar gambit is awesome I haven’t tried it yet but I’ll let you know when I do.

Other then that keep doing what you’re doing and maybe one day I’ll see you on your travels.

    Take care,

  32. Diomedes November 14, 2011 at 11:02 pm #

    Mr Nomad,

Thank you for the great site. Fabulously entertaining! Your travel hacks are the best bar none out there and worth their weight in gold and it is always great to read the experiences of a man who is happily leading life exactly as he wants it (a rarity).

If you would like a suggestion for the blog, this reader would very much like to hear about your entrepreneurial career, the lessons you have learnt and career-hacks.

Hope you are having a famous time in Cyprus.

    Good blog fine sir!

  34. Papillon November 14, 2011 at 11:52 pm #

    Hey,

I am a frequent blog reader, but this may be my first ever blog comment post. I’ve honestly never felt the need to comment, positive or negative, on the things that I’ve read. But after reading this post, I realize that it’s more than fair to reward a great article by a great author with a simple “cool man! keep up the good work!” comment.

And this blog is great work. While I cringe at a couple of the cruder bits, overall I am in awe of your lifestyle. Popping off to risky locales like Haiti and Ivory Coast, capturing so many flags, drinking and smoking without regard for tomorrow: for me these exemplify truly living life with all the zest, vigor, and passion that it deserves.

For your entertainment and your inspiration, I say thank you and keep up the great work.

Dude your the Man! I really got pack my bags and hit the road again.

Your writing is zany and cheeky. When I travel I basically do the same thing. Its good to see a blog out there that covers the 3 basic needs of life “Sex, drugs and rock n’ roll!”

Keep the city guides comin, I will use them to my advantage soon enough.

  37. "Cookie" Koch November 15, 2011 at 3:34 am #

Dear Naughty Nomad, I’m 18 years old and, in three weeks, will be taking my first dolo trip outside of the country. One of the reasons I’m doing this is because of your site, before reading this blog (along with Roosh V’s site) I always thought traveling abroad only consisted of queer site seeing and taking pictures of overrated landmarks. Now I see how truly fun and adventurous travel can be. Thank you for helping to inspire me!

    -Cookie

  38. Cookie November 15, 2011 at 4:31 am #

I’m 18 at the moment and in one month will be taking my first solo trip outside the country. Before reading this blog (along with Roosh’s one) I had never been very interested in travel, it had always been about seeing stupid landmarks and tourist traps. Thanks to your work I’m now incredibly excited to go out and travel the world, and attribute much of the reason for my upcoming trip to how fun and adventurous you’ve made travel sound. Thank you very much and although we’ve never met, you’ve had a major impact on my life.

  39. Mamey November 15, 2011 at 5:22 am #

    Hey, NN !

A daily reader of your blog, waiting with anxiety to read the next post. Your idea on a travel and dating blog is brilliant and so is the execution. Low budget, lots of fun and a sense your reader is joining you when action is happening.
I am a Brazilian living in Mexico for many years in a row and gaming on these Countries is an unique experience , worth a trip. As a feed-back, you may come more often to Latin America, you can dress like a mexican pirate on Brazilian carnival.

Keep on flagging ! Cheers, Mamey

  40. Jack November 15, 2011 at 5:34 am #

Been reading for a while, just out of ltr and learning about the manosphere. As a result I have quit my Corp career and am going to be traveling for a year. Love the guides looking forward to more!

  41. hotdigr November 15, 2011 at 10:40 am #

Why are we “lurking” if we view your page?Thats what the net is about right? Making information readily available, to anyone, anywhere, for free? Sure you arent just trying to make some money out of this digga? Its not all that riveting you know.nothing the stickman haasnt covered at least!

  42. EvanX November 15, 2011 at 11:22 am #

Love your site, I come for the stories and travel guides, not a big fan of regurgitated PUA mantra though…hey you asked! 😉

  43. Lumiere November 15, 2011 at 12:49 pm #

@catch23 I passed through Bulgaria on my way to Macedonia (where I bumped into Naught Nomad of all people and lauched the siege of Skopje garrrr). Flagged both countries without too much effort.

Liked Sofia so much that I came back here to rent an apt. and finish my book. We can meet for a beer some time if you like.

  44. trickster November 15, 2011 at 2:06 pm #

Here’s another one. I’m from Germanyand I’m 34, I regularly read your blog and those of some others (Roosh V, Pickup Podcast, Tynan). It’s great, although I’m not really into the pickup scene besides reading blogs and books… but still that helped me a lot. I’m going to travel in a few months, so I will definitely keep reading your blog. Regarding the pickup stuff, I’m split between “I wanna live exactly like these guys are” (is that beta?) and “those poor fuckers are treating women like shit because they have to prove something since they were a child” (is that beta again?). I tend to the first option more often 🙂 still don’t know why I haven’t started really learning and doing this stuff: is it lazyness, fear, not enough interest? But anyway, I’m happy and I keep moving.

If you keep writing, I’ll keep reading!

  45. Hominis November 15, 2011 at 4:39 pm #

I agree, lack of (explicit) recognition is frustrating given your high number of visitors. So let me just pile on here.
In our information-overload society it’s a tough job sorting data, it’s difficult to verify its genuineness and the “hacking” you provide gives wings to an otherwise heavy burden.
Also the “map” you provide for entering the unknown serves particularly well for confidence and therefore good results. Thank you!
So as for the direction of your fine weblog: more of the clearing the rubble of insignificant data. That’s what we all need. And if you want further participation from the part of your lurkers, ask for more and involve us.
    Nice one!

Just discovered your blog while looking for recommendations of things to do while in Kuala Lumpur where I’ll be in a few days, spending a month there. Thanks for the travel tip and opinion that Kuching/Sarawak are a better place to hang than KL and surrounding area.

Awesome blog, highly entertaining, informative, and educational, so keep up the awesome work.

So this post should count as one of the 25 new commentors. will keep hitting back for sure.

  47. le biel November 15, 2011 at 10:07 pm #

Interesting site, you seem like an interesting chap. I like that you stick to the basics instead of posting at length about the various ways in which feminism is stupid. I’d vote for the travel articles to be more in depth – more text, more photos.

  48. Wonky November 16, 2011 at 2:11 am #

Guys, these comments are very constructive. Taking all of them on board.
@wonky et al: Sorry if I don’t get around to replying to them all. I will try harder in future. I’ll have to consider a forum for discussion.
@zarzuelazen: The only thing I know about NZ girls is they’re easy!
@thewilk: plan on hitting Latin American late 2012.

More city guides and top 5/10s coming…

  49. zarzuelazen November 16, 2011 at 5:38 am #

Yo, naughty man, interesting blog, you are one wild dude….you do the sorts of things many guys wish they could but can’t. You take some big risks it sounds like, so not sure I’d want to replicate that lifestyle, but very interesting.

Some of us are just novelty junkies however (high on the ‘Openness to Experience’ attribute), and I certainly fall in that category too. I loveto travel and see and learn new things. New experiences are way more valuable than material things methinks. So you’re doing very well!

Everyone fantasizes about the nomadic lifestyle, but of course, easier said than done because of the need for funds. I did manage it for few months in ’08 when I had a freelance editing job that let me work over the internet whilst travelling….I visited Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane Australia, then I travelled to the UK and saw London and took in a ‘writers gathering’ in Edinburgh Scotland. It was great, but not sustainable, because my editing job soon ended.

Since then I’ve been trying to find a way to get a new locationless income source, I’m currently looking into trading on sports markets on Betfair, starting to enjoy some success and I might finally be able to hit the road again as a cyber-hippie.

I might start trying to write up my adventures with the nomadic lifestyle on my own blog, which is about ‘life hacking’ (see link). I’m fron New Zealand by the way. Do you know any NZ girls? 😉 I might see you on the road sometime.

  51. Andy November 16, 2011 at 9:05 am #

The city guides are great. Keep ’em short and simple. Yeah, you could throw in some business stuff too. And lifestyle stories like the flying lessons you mentioned. Variety is the spice of life.

  52. Steely November 16, 2011 at 1:54 pm #

by the way, how come Oceania is off your radar? Got something against possibly being stuck on islands with once a week flights out? if you’re evr in Samoa, announce and i’ll be happy to buy you a beer for all the entertaining stories lol

    • Naughty Nomad November 17, 2011 at 11:58 am #

@Steely: Thanks man. I will make it Oceania eventually. Maybe 2013.
      @Odin:WTF?
@trive: Enjoy Africa man! Uganda rox!
@bitch: Love that story! Glad you love/hate the blog.

  53. Odin November 16, 2011 at 7:54 pm #

Makes me ill when you write about fucking colored women, wish you would stick to your own. You are giving your birth right away, and your hybrid children will have no future in the white nations, you better hope thailand is kinder to your little mongrels then the soon to be, racially aware white nations as they are renewed and cleansed through the coming poverty/wars.

    Out.

  56. Bitch November 17, 2011 at 10:51 am #

Hey there. I’m a 22 year old girl from Dublin.

I firstly heard of your blog when they interviewed you on Spin1038. I almost crashed my car over what a pompous arrogant asshole you were and was disgusted at the idea of you capturing flags. That evening I scoffed to my boyfriend about the idiot I had heard on the radio and he informed me that he had visited your blog previously – on advice from his friends – to find out where the hottest girls lived. I spent the night reading pretty much all of your blog posts – at first with disgust but later, curiosity. I now find myself logging in every few days for an update. Despite myself, I’m hooked.

  57. jameetrix November 17, 2011 at 4:11 pm #

been lurking your blog for a long time now. This is my 1st comment (hooraaahhh!!!)….. Why are you banned in China anyway? What was ur misadventure to be banned for?

    • Naughty Nomad November 17, 2011 at 5:33 pm #

@jameetrix: I’m bannded in China because I talk about where to get drugs (I presume).
@Ps: Yeah, move! haha… if you find any fun report back 🙂

  58. PS November 17, 2011 at 4:20 pm #

Yeah man, I like your blog. But guess where I fucking live now… Cairo. Liked your description, but any more advice?

  59. Tim November 18, 2011 at 2:14 am #

Massive fan. Haven’t commented because I don’t have much to add, ‘cept maybe that my world traveling dad says if you want to have fun in a strange place then you should find the Australians.

Your city guides are particularly fascinating; I’ll be using your Hong Kong guide later in the year.

I’m 25, from Wisconsin, haven’t traveled much yet. I’m starting with Hong Kong and Taiwan after deer hunting season (December-January). I’m thinking Cario to Cape Town would have to be exellent.

Would appreciate your thoughts on how you learn about the modes of transportation in new countries.

I’ve commented a few times but will try to comment a bit more. I do have one recommendation – it would be good if you had a little section off to the side on the front page showing “recent comments.” I’ve seen that on other blogs. That way, people could follow the commenting and your responses on various posts. Cheers.

Ok, you asked for it, so I’ll show up!

I’m a member of the RooshV Forum, been so since April. Since the beggining of the year I’ve been reading your blog as well, and I find it very inspirational.

I am Brazilian, from Rio, and am currently living in Hawaii for some months.

I wonder when Naughty Nomad will strike either Hawaii or Rio, my guess is you haven’t been in either before. Any plans? If so, let me know.

Your blog, your travel stories are an inspiration for living life to the max. I especially appreciate you lighthearted sense of humour.

I’ll comment more often and stop lurking!

    Hello Nomad!

Im a fan of your site, i love your city reports. I wish you would post more pics of local girls you dated that would help identify with your travels more. Maybe do a special on how you finance your travels too?

    Take care

Every monday, I go to your website to fight the monday blues.
Being a bit of a traveler myself (unfortunately mostly with the missus)
I especially enjoy the country reviews. You inspired me to go to Africa myself next year. But in December I’m off to the Philippines (on my own) so your blog comes in very handy. Many thanks for that and keep up the good work and this very inspiring blog

It’s great to see what a lad with energy and game can accomplish on his travels. Some great accounts of what worked and what didn’t abroad. Inspirational stuff!

Stumbled upon your blog since researching a trip to Brno in the summer, and have been reading ever since! Great writing style and really enjoy the city guides and travel stories. Keep it up! It’s certaintly an enviable lifestyle you lead and fair play to for having the balls to get out and explore. Maybe for some future articles you could include something on travel lessons you have learned the hard way? ..a friend of mine has a travel blog and is doing a series of articles on this. Also perhaps something on the pros/ cons of dating foregin women? Or a video blog from your trips? Just some ideas. By the way I have to recommend if you havent seen it already a canadian tv show called ‘Keys to the Vip’.. very interesting viewing to see what works and what doesn’t when picking up in a club!

Been reading all your stuff for a few days now and i must say, it’s one of my new things to do on my spare time. Passionate about travel and looking forward to checking out some of the places you’ve talked about in Europe. Just got back from Thailand this past year and headed to Guatemala and Belize for the holidays. Great to see some fellow travelers on here and its always great to hear advice and different pointers from someone that has “been there, done that.” Great stuff!!

Man, your posts are *awesome*!!!! Just found them today following a link from the nexxtlevelup.com website. I used to adventure travel back in the 80’s (before marriages and child-raising), but now newly-single, full of swag and wiser than before, I’m enjoying your stories tremendously – they’re inspiring me to get back out there into the world!!! Here’s to Capturing some Great New Flags in 2013!!!!!
